The ABC Multibus System is used to integrate SIMATIC S5 boards and standard CompactPCI boards. By using two bus sytems, easy access is ensured to a wide range of boards for the user-friendly solution of complex tasks. Complete system designs can be set up based on 19" rackmount systems.


The ABC Multibus System is provided with an integrated power supply module and an integrated cooling system. Up to 21 slots are available for taking boards. The system is buffered by an external battery that can be replaced from outside.

As a central unit, the ABC X-CPU-2 m57 with 64MB remanent memory is used. For programming standard Siemens Step5 and Step7 is used.
